A Chilling Winter Night is a collection of three music videos for Brooklyn based music collective Pu Poo Platter. Each of the three stories features one main character in its living environment. All the props are made with 3” insulation foam and cardboard.

Working with an extremely tight budget, the team has to borrow their friends’ basement as a site for both production and shooting.



The story begins with the death of a food connoisseur, rendered and narrated by three characters, each in their own distinctive perspective, sometimes even contradictory,  the story becomes a Rashomon movie.

Using cheap materials such as cardboard, artificial flowers, insulation foam, zip ties as main production materials for all the props turns out not only a choice of cost saving, but makes the story more plausible and confusing at the same time.
