#fff Beijing is a renovation project transforming a wasted bodega into a miniature restaurant.

The space is so small that any partition wall would get in the way of a fluid connection between individuals. The open kitchen and bar counter layout, on the contrary, blurs the boundary between the chef, the owner, and the customers in the space.

As a result, the space evolves beyond simply a restaurant, but an open studio for chef residency, diy exhibition and casual music performances, a small but warm community bonded by food, art, and music.
